A Chapter of The Fleetwood Motor Home Association (FMA)
ARTICLE I – NAME
The name of this chapter shall be:
ARTICLE II – PURPOSE
The purpose of the chapter shall be:
To conduct campouts, tours, rallies and social events that will enhance the friendship and fellowship for all members.

ARTICLE V – MEMBERSHIP AND FEES
Section 1. The Chapter is formed as a non-profit, volunteer organization, affiliated with the Fleetwood Motorhome Association and must, at any given time, have 51% or more members who are also members of the FMA”.
Section 2. Membership is open to owners of any brand or class motorhome. Members who decide to downsize or trade for an RV other than a motorhome will remain a member in full standing with full membership rights.
Section 3. Members may invite guest interested in joining to attend a chapter event for an opportunity to get to know each other. The President with approval of the BOD may then extend an invitation to join the chapter.
Section 4. The annual dues for the Mid-South Roadrunners Chapter shall be recommended by the BOD and voted on by the chapter members at any regular membership business meeting.
ARTICLE VI – OFFICERS
The Officers of the chapter shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chaplain. The Officers constitute the Board of Directors (BOD) and the President shall serve as the Chairman of the Board. All shall perform the duties that usually pertain to these respective offices and/or as directed by the President. Elections shall be conducted on odd years. The term of office shall be two years or until their respective successor has been duly elected or appointed and installed. Officers may serve two two-year terms by unanimous proclamation or proper elections.
ARTICLE VII – RESPONSIBILITY OF OFFICERS.
Section 1. The Officers shall be the administrative body of the club and shall also perform such functions and duties as ordered by the club membership.
Section 2. The officers shall fill any vacancies for the un-expired term.
Section 3. The officers shall hold meetings as they deem necessary, and the President or any two officers may at any time call a meeting.
Section 4. A majority of the officers shall constitute a quorum to hold a meeting. On any specific question absentee officers may mail or e-mail their vote to the Secretary.
ARTICLE VIII – COMMITTEES
Section 1. The President shall have the authority to designate a committee and appoint a Chairman of the committee to address and carry out the purpose and objectives defined for the committee.
ARTICLE IX – MEETINGS AND CAMPOUTS
Section 1. Regular club business meetings, events and rallies are not limited to a set number during the year.
Section 2. The President or any two officers upon notification to all members five days prior to the meeting may call special meetings of the membership.
Section 3. A quorum shall be 20% of the members.
Section 4. The fiscal year shall begin January 1 and end December 31.

ARTICLE X – BY LAWS
Section 1. To amend the by-laws, the proposed changes will be distributed to each member thirty days prior to the meeting. The by-laws may then be amended with a majority vote of the club members voting.
Section 2. Roberts Rules of Order shall govern on any item not specifically covered by the by-laws.
Section 3. It is the responsibility of each member to inform his or her guests of all by-laws, policies, standing rules and common courtesies.
ARTICLE XI – TERMINATION OF THE CLUB
Section 1. Should the activities of the club terminate any property or club funds shall be disposed of in the following manner:
- Property shall be offered for sale to club members before offered to the public.
- All funds after debts shall be dispersed as follows;
- Dues paid will be refunded retroactively to a specific year until funds are depleted evenly.
- Any funds remaining shall be donated to a non-profit organization, or dispersed as decided by majority vote of the club members.
