Vince and Tracey Lamonica are once again hosting a rally in their home state of PA.

Back, by popular demand, the rally will begin with dry camping at Jennerstown Speedway, July 31 – Aug 4, 2024 with FREE admission to the races Saturday night, Aug 3rd.

Then we’ll caravan over to Friendship Village in historic Bedford, PA, Aug 4 – 8. Below is information on the campground.

More details will be coming but if you are interested in this rally you need to act soon.

You do not need a reservation for the Speedway camping BUT you DO for the campground.

They are holding 25 sites for us but ONLY until Jan 1, 2024.

So,  you will need to call soon if you are interested. This rally usually sells out.

You will need to tell them that you are with the MID-SOUTH ROADRUNNERS when you call the campground.

They offer a buy 3 nights get the 4th night free so the rate will be $212.00 for the full stay.

Note from Vince and Tracey

As you know we are planning a rally in Pennsylvania, July 31 – Aug 8, starting at the Jennerstown Speedway and ending in Bedford.
Just a reminder…
You do need to make reservations at the campground by Jan 6 in order to secure a site with the group.
Many have already booked their sites. If you are interested in attending, please call Friendship Village campground ASAP at 814-623-1677.
You must tell them you are with the Mid-South Roadrunners. The dates for the campground are Aug 4-8.
There is so much to see and do while in the Jennerstown area. A favorite from the last rally was a pizza party at the Rusty Musket Distillery, which we will try to do again.
Laughlintown is right over the mountain, about 8 miles west from the speedway, and offers the Compass Inn Museum and famous Laughlintown Pie Shoppe.
3 miles down the road from Laughlintown is beautiful historic Ligonier which offers Fort Ligonier Museum, many quaint little shops, restaurants and a wonderful Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings.
Go 7 miles south, towards Somerset, and there is the Quecreek Mine rescue site and museum. From there you can visit the Glades Pike Winery.
About 20 miles north you can ride the Johnstown Incline Plane and then visit the Johnstown Flood Museum National Park.
While at the campground you can visit historic downtown Bedford, PA, the Flight 93 Memorial National Park and the beautiful, historic Omni Bedford Springs Hotel.
While visiting downtown Bedford we can do a wine tasting at Bella Terra Vineyards, tour the Fort Bedford Museum and visit the Olde Bedford Brewing Company.
Also nearby is the Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater home, a historical landmark available for touring.
With so much history and things to do in the area I don’t think you will be bored.
We can do some as a group and you can do some on your own.
If there is anything in particular you think you would like to do, please let me know and I will try to get us in as a group.
Hope you will join us.
Have a wonderful holiday season and safe travels,
Tracey Lamonica
