RV Parks Recommended by Our Members
This map is a growing collection of RV parks and campgrounds personally recommended by members of the Mid-South Road Runners.
These are not simply parks we found online. Our goal is to build a useful list of places where our members have actually stayed, had a great experience, and would confidently recommend to other Road Runners.
As our members travel around the country, we will continue adding new parks to the map.
The goal is simple: when you are planning a trip, you can open the map and quickly see RV parks that fellow members have already enjoyed.

Everyone can view the map. You do not have to be an editor or have special access.
When you open the map, you will see all of the RV parks currently recommended by Mid-South Road Runners members.
As new parks are added, they will automatically appear on the same shared list.
Use the button above to open our current Mid-South Road Runners Recommended RV Parks list in Google Maps.
Add the List to Your Google Maps
We strongly recommend saving the Mid-South Road Runners RV Park list to your own Google Maps account.
Once you do this, the list will be available whenever you use Google Maps on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Even better, you do not have to keep adding the list again.
When we add new recommended RV parks, they will automatically appear in the same shared list.
How to Save the List — Step by Step
Don't worry if you aren't very technical. It only takes a few steps.
On Your Phone or Tablet
Tap the View the RV Park Map button on this page.
The list should open in the Google Maps app.
If asked, sign into the Google account you normally use with Google Maps.
You will see the Mid-South Road Runners RV Park list.
Tap Follow, Save, or the option Google provides to save the shared list.
Once saved, the list will remain available in your Google Maps account.
To find it again later:
- Open the Google Maps app.
- Tap You or Saved at the bottom of the screen.
- Look under your saved or followed lists.
- Select the Mid-South Road Runners Recommended RV Parks list.
That's it!
You can now pull up the list while traveling and see recommended RV parks anywhere in the country.
On a Computer
- Click the View the RV Park Map button.
- Sign into your Google account if necessary.
- Open the shared Mid-South Road Runners RV Park list.
- Choose the option to Save or Follow the list.
- It will then be associated with your Google Maps account.
Later, simply go to Google Maps while signed into the same account and open your saved lists.

We will send you an invitation that allows you to add parks to the shared list.
Adding a Park Is Very Easy
Once you are an editor, adding a park usually takes less than a minute.
When you find an RV park in Google Maps:
- Open the RV park in Google Maps.
- Choose Save.
- Select the Mid-South Road Runners Recommended RV Parks list.
- Add a short note about your experience.
- Save it.
The park will then become part of the shared list for other members to see.
Please Tell Us Who Recommended It
Whenever you add an RV park, please include a short note telling other members:
- Who recommended the park
- Approximately when you stayed there
- Anything especially helpful or memorable about the park
For example:
Recommended by Keith & Lynnea Landers — August 2026. Very clean resort, excellent facilities, friendly staff and we would definitely stay here again.
These notes make the map much more valuable because members can see that the recommendation came from someone in our group who actually stayed there.
Please Only Add GREAT RV Parks
This is important.
We do not want this to become a list of every campground or RV park our members have ever visited.
The purpose of this map is to highlight great RV parks that you would genuinely recommend to another Mid-South Road Runner member.
Before adding a park, ask yourself:
“If another Road Runner were traveling through this area, would I feel good telling them they should stay here?”
If the answer is YES, add it!
If the park was simply average, acceptable, or somewhere you would probably not return to, please leave it off the list.
By keeping the standards high, this map can become an extremely useful travel resource created by Road Runners, for Road Runners.
